Hello, my name is Stephen Shepard. Welcome to my blog where I talk about the movies and TV shows that I watch. A little bit about me. I was born on September 19, 1982. For as long as I know, I've always seemed to be a born storyteller. I would tell stories often out loud when I was child. That graduated to my love of writing. And soon I would love acting as well. In my senior year of high school, my video applications soon gave me a love of producing and directing as well. I am currently working several writing projects. A few short stories, a couple of screenplays and a possible web series.
I've always been a big lover of film. My love for television really has only grown this decade due to superior shows such as 24 and Lost. 24 in particular made me truly appreciate the medium of television. Not trying to say that there not shows I loved before then. After all, The X-Files, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Quantum Leap, ect. all shows that are among my all time favorite. But it was especially 24 that really allowed my love of television to grow and almost equal my love of film.
So I will be using this blog to blog about what I love. Movies and television. Some reviews and some articles.
EDIT: Wow. I totally forgot about this. But I have not abandoned it. I am going to put up my first few articles this week. The first article will be a mid-Year report for 2012. I will my Mid-Year Top 10 and 5 Least favorite movies as well as some great performances. And then I'll work on a 3 part article focusing on the Emmy's. With the Emmy nominations being announced on Thursday, I'll give both my predictions as well as who/what I think should be nominated. On Tuesdays I'll focus on the drama categories. Then on Wednesday I'll do the comedy categories. Then on Thursday I'll give my reactions to the nominations themselves.
My first review will probably be up sometime soon as well. It'll be whatever movie I end up seeing next. Don't know yet what that is. And of course on Friday or Saturday I'll have up my review for what is undoubtedly, for most people, the most anticipated movie of the summer and maybe even the year: The Dark Knight Rises. I may even write an article discussing Christopher Nolan's career. Though if I do, that likely won't be up until late next weekend.
So, I don't know if anyone is reading this at all. It could be nobody has and thus no problem. But just in case there was, sorry for the HUGE delay. I mean, 3 years is insane. Completely forgot about this, but no more. Expect my first article up no later than Monday or Tuesday (if it's Tuesday, then I'll have my first 2 articles up).
